|
November
24, 2002:
The rescheduled conclusion
to E-town's Ultra Quick 8 was exciting from the start. With
Neverlift owner Leo Barnaby qualifying in the #1 position
again with a blistering 7.46 at 187 mph, and 5 of the cars
qualifying in the 7.50s, it was the fastest field in 2002.
Despite his efforts, Leo was defeated in the second round
by Neverlift customer Bran Ferrari. The margin of victory
was .009 seconds. As a result, Brian was able to win the championship.
Here's the Final Points Order for
the 2002 Ultra Quick 8
#1 - Team Ferarri - Neverlift 25.1 Chassis
#2 - Leo Barnaby - Neverlift Shop 25.1 Camaro
#3 - John Schroeder - Neverlift prepped Camaro
#4 - Jack Boer/Jimmy McLean - Neverlift prepped Monte Carlo
Again the common denominator is Neverlift
Motorsports.
FACT:
While continually qualifying in the tops spots all year, every
race was won by a Neverlift prepared vehicle.
